Workington have had a tough week that looks set to get worse as they prepare for another long journey, this time to Manchester where they will play Drolysden. Having drawn their original home FA Cup tie with Nuneaton, Workington had to travel for a replay in mid-week in which we tipped Nuneaton to win and so they did to leave Workington without anything after a tough two games. The players will have to be lifted as they are playing a Dorylsden side who are on fine form at the moment and look very dangerous for Saturday. The home side currently sit in 5th place and should they win their game in hand they would be in 3rd place. They have quite a few players from last years title winning side Southport, with Kieran Kilheeney one of the hottest strikers in the league. Workington themselves are flying high, only a place below Droyslden however their good results have come from the poorer sides whilst a better side like Boston United beat them 4-0. Even Nuneaton Town are considered one of the better sides in this league and they managed to draw at their ground and beat them 1-0 midweek. So the jury is out on Workington and whilst Droylsden have had a weeks rest they will have a good chance to get the three points on Saturday

FC United Win Boosts Profits

A stunning last 20 minutes ensured FC United romped to a 3-0 victory away to Ossett Town landing odds of 6/4.

The tip was heavily backed into 5/4 for the Evo Stik Premier League clash and did not dissapoint as FC United built upon a weekend FA Cup win against Barrow.

Nuneaton Town also landed handsome odds of 6/5 to beat Workington in the FA Cup replay at Liberty Way to ensure they go into the first round of the FA Cup.

Well it seems like we are playing Bradford City every week but as we predicted they are now producing the form and most importantly the wins that were waiting to happen. We have played with them 4 times, won 2 and lost 2 but most importantly the two wins was at odds of 2/1 and 19/10 meaning we have made a significant profit by sticking by them. Once again they are a nice 2/1 this weekend but we are going to play the draw no bet option as Burton Albion are a decent side. However we fully expect Bradford City to make it 3 wins on the bounce and dispell their poor early season form. Much of reason why they are performing now is because of their change in formation which now stands a 4-3-3. The other reason is the signing of towering striker Jason Price who stands at 6'4'' who creates a right nuisance up front. Weekend Review

A magical day is a superb way to sum it up, it had the usual solid start and by 30 minutes we was already in profit with 3 out of 5 winning.

Barrow scored the first goal of the day through Walker after 12 minutes and never looked back. They went on to win 3-0 and had the game tied up by the 47th minute after Wiles scored their third goal.

By half-time it was clearly evident we were ready to target our first full clean sweep and a 100% strike-rate however the only concern was Tamworth who were losing to struggling Histon, that's where the drama soon came later.

In the meantime Chelmsford City scored after 51 minutes through Higgins who scored his 6th goal in 6 games, though this was to be the only team leading that kept us concerned throughout the game as Chelmsford managed to finish the game 1-0

Shrewsbury City made light work of Northampton Town, a team we knew was there for the taking for several weeks. A superb 3-1 victory landed a home win at even money, nicely done.

It was a similar story for Port Vale who landed the best odds of the day with a 3-0 victory away to Macclesfield. The 5/4 on Port Vale was lapped up by all of us at Firerfoxx HQ and we was never really troubled, Port Vale will certainly be a team to keep tabs on.

So the drama came in the Histon/Tamworth match where at half-time Tamworth needed to overcome a 1-0 deficit. It looked unlikely until Lee Wooton handled deliberately in the area giving Kyle Perry the chance to equalise which changed the whole dynamics of the game.

Tamworth had 30 minutes to score the winning goal which again looked unlikely as the clock ticked fastly to the closing minutes

It was was of those classic Firefoxx moments as Scott Brown scored an 89th minute winner to land all 5 of our tips.

I would certainly like to echo what Firefoxx said in the live scores centre at the end of the match, that our team has worked extremely hard to get into a position like this. We have made radical changes over the summer and have invested in a state of the art system that gives us readings on fixtures.

In our last 3 betting sessions we now have a record of played 11, won 10, lost 1. A day like this is fantastic for our team who put in hours of work and it is certainly a proud day for everyone involved with Firefoxx football tips.

I'd also like to give a special mention to our form and results co-ordinator Steve Melville who has really changed our mind-set this season with a number of factors. Another winner last night as Cambridge City beat Oxford City 1-0 in the Zamaretto Premier which now takes our last 2 betting sessions to 5 wins out of 6.

We have just got the results from the Firefoxx system ready for this weekend which has shortlisted 12 tips. We will spend the next few days finding out about each club's news and team news then we will release 4 to 5 tips ready for Saturday.

This week is an interesting one as most of the tips on the shortlist are from League 2 and the Blue Square Premier. In recent weeks we have really been taking on the Blue Square North and South however the coupon doesn't look so tasty for this weekend.

We are still cautious with League 2 as it is definately the most competitive out of all four leagues we cover but as the season goes by morale and confidence plays a big part.

Remember to get your £4.99 a week subscription before Saturday so you can receive this weekends tips. It really is such a small sum of money when you think about it. Last night a £6 bet on Cambridge City would have been enough to pay for your membership.

With the winners coming thick and fast it really is a great time to get involved. Even better news is now we have switched to subscription based it means the hundreds are not betting on the tips which had a big impact on the prices.

Another thing we have always been wary of as a team is match fixing. When you have 500-1,000 punters backing our tips like in recent times, it can raise an eyebrow with the bookmakers.

Weekend Review, Saturday 11th September

Another weekend, another 4 out of 5 winners which was nearly a clean sweep after Chesterfield bombarded the Morecambe goal shortly after equalising in the 82nd minute.

The big tip is the one that pleases the most after tipping Crawley Town on the Thursday at 8/11 the price went crashing into as little as 4/9.

Crawley look very strong for a title challenge now and did not let us down as they secured a 2-0 away victory over Histon.

AFC Telford scored a first half goal and held their league for the whole game. They have a lot to thank to their keeper who put in a man of the match performance whilst this result was very improtant for our days progression as it was always tight.

At half-time we sat in a good position although Chesterfield was the only team losing. Gateshead scored 2 second half goals to beat Altrincham 2-0 whilst Woking bossed Basigstoke to a 2-0 win.

With 4 out of 5 up, Chesterfield nearly made it a full house after Craig Davies' shot went agonisingly over the bar.

All in all, an excellent weekend with our big tip winning and the rest coming in for a nice 80% strike rate.

This is taking a lot of time which is already added to hours of research each day so we have to make the set-up more practical. We now have record numbers of punters using our tips since we made it free which is also having a big impact on the prices. In most cases the prices go shorter when we reveal our tips, so only giving the tips to subscribed members will safeguard the price and keep our circle a bit more tighter.

The Leagues Are Settling

It has been an excellent start to the season by our account and is set to get even more exciting. We now have the critical resource available, which is form whilst we have also seen plenty of the teams which now sets a platform for the rest of the season.

Early indications in League 2 suggest the league is going to be incredibly tight, even more so than last season. For that reason we are very cautious about tipping on away teams, as home teams will be busting a gut for the points. Unfortunately we fell victim at the weekend to an away team in League 2 as Northampton Town scored an 87th minute goal to deny our 2/1 tip on away side Wycombe Wanderers.

However we are delighted we landed 4 out of 5 winners at an 80% strike rate. These percentages have been rising every week and suggest we are bang on the money after the first few opening games.

The league that is exciting us the most is the Blue Square North, where there is the biggest divide in quality. This of course will have been picked up for the bookmakers but have no fear there is still plenty of opportunities to make money at smaller prices. Even going for doubles to get a better price is advised as these games are very easy to predict and win.

The Blue Square Premier is a very tight league and one we are slowly nibbling at rather than getting stuck in at the deep end. The problem with the Blue Square Premier this season is that any team in the league is capable of picking up a draw which makes tipping on this league very risky.

This may change over the course of the season as team morale changes whilst it will be interesting to keep an eye out on fixtures from teams chasing for promotion.

There are plenty of opportunities to get stuck in amongst the Blue Square South, mainly the top teams. Although this league has had more draws than any of our feature leagues, however draws at this stage of the season is quite a common thing as the season is still taking it's course.

Weekend Review For Saturday 28th August

This ws a weekend to remember as we racked up an 80% strike rate with 4 out of 5 tips winning on Saturday. An 87th minute Northampton goal denied us landing 5 out of 5 which was also a 2/1 tip.

The big tip of the day was at Nuneaton Town where we provided you with exclusive information on the chaos surrounding Stalybridge Celtic. At 11/10, Nuneaton was a steal as they ran out 2-1 winners.

York City was nother big tip as we gave it a stake 10, the highest one possible and only our second stake 10 of the season. The minstermen proved their 4/6 worth with an excellent 3-0 win over struggling Altrincham.

After carefully watching Lewes in recent weeks it was inevitable that their young side was going to struggle against a classy experienced side and that was backed up as Dover Athletic ran out 3-0 winners, landing an 11/10 tip.

Crawley Town have also been a team that we have been lumping on after a slow start. It seems Steve Evans' boys have got their shackles of and are playing with freedom which was demonstrated with a blistering 3-0 away victory against Hayes and Yeading.

With 86 minutes on the clock, we was heading for a 100% strike rate with Wycombe in front had it not been for a late penalty by Northampton's Thornton.

After an extremely positive opening few weeks, which may I add are never easy to land reliable winners we now revel after this excellent weekend. Furthermore the recent form now stands at P20, W14, L6 which is looking very tasty.

Profits are high and we have never dropped below a 50% strike rate so far this season.

In a ground breaking deal, which will be a first in English football between a major football competition and a broadcaster, the Football Conference has signed up to a unique partnership with Premier Sports TV to show 30 matches per season from the Blue Square Bet Premier over the next three years, including their Premier Play Off's and the prestigious Premier Promotion Final.

In a joint enterprise with Premier Sports, the Conference can now offer those who want the opportunity to watch all that is best outside the Premiership and Football League, the ability to subscribe to a monthly membership for just £6.99.

The uniqueness of the deal over and above the normal rights fee paid by the broadcaster to the competition, will see the Conference receive 50% of all subscriptions once a nominal level of subscribers has been achieved.

No other competition has had this style of agreement before and in addition the Conference will also earn 50% from all internet revenue associated with the deal and allow them to retain advertising rights allied to those adverts shown with their matches. This really is a "joint venture" first in football.

Despite the fact that 12 months ago the Conference lost their then broadcaster partner due to financial reasons, they have bounced back strongly from that adversity to again lead the way with this deal.

The full details attached to the partnership are being conveyed to member clubs first before these are made public together with the actual format and first tranche of matches being revealed.

Fans of the Blue Square Bet Premier can be assured though that LIVE matches will commence on the 4th September via Channel 433, at a minimum rate of 3 per month and as little disruption to the current fixture list will take place as possible.

All levels of non league football begin on Saturday although this season we will just be concentrating on the top three tiers as we aim to give punters around the world the very best information and tips.

We have already released one tip this evening (Wednesday) which is sure to price-crash over the next few days so get on it now. Today we have released 6 tips, 5 which include League 2 sides and one that is an all League One affair.

There will be plenty of League 2 sides who will be taking their Carling Cup fixtures very seriously and for sure, there will be plenty of surprises but at the same time there are a lot of bargain prices hidden in the first round draw.

Maybe the draw has been unkind to League 2 sides but I don't expect there to be as many upsets this evening than in recent years where coupons have been a landmine.

The reason being is purely statistical with the Championship clubs being the strongest teams in this round.

There are 14 Championship Vs League 2 fixtures this evening compared to 3 Championship Vs League 1 fixtures. That's a huge difference to recent years where the numbers have been more even and infact more Championship Vs League 1 fixtures. So therefore the match-ups are going to have a bigger gap than recent years which is why we believe it would be wise to get stuck into the Championship sides this evening.

Indeed we have, 5 of tonights tips are involving Championship sides looking to take advantage of League 2 sides with the likes of Nottingham Forest, Derby County, Bristol City, Preston and Swansea on our hit-list.

We kicked-off the start of the season with 4 tips, all of which was home picked sides. Our tips were taken all the way as we hit a 50% strike-rate but at the same time incured a minor loss.

The dissapointing result of the day was Gillingham's 1-1 draw against Cheltenham which effectively was the difference between a 75% strike rate and a nice profit making day. That's how fine the line was on Saturday but we can safetly say that there have been bigger opening day gambling losses and we can be satisfied that we was right on the button.

Wycombe Wanderes handed us the biggest profit of the day with a double your money bet and they did not dissapoint. A resounding 2-0 victory over Morecambe was put safe after the 84th minute when Pitman secured the 3 points.

Chesterfield did not make an easy ending of their game against Barnet despite being in cruise control for most of the match.

A horror challenege on Barnet striker Steve Kabba saw Chesterfield's Davies sent off after 82 minutes leaving our tip vulnerable for the closing minutes.

Chesterfield however hung on to clinch the 3 points and land our 4/6 bet.

Crewe Alexandra had their chances against Hereford but failed to take several golden chances. Despite being bossed around in the game, this was one of our tips that slipped away as the game went on. On another day it could have been different but we will mark that down as a bad loss.

Our evalusation of the weekend is that we should have hit our 75% strike-rate target and in many views was slightly unlucky considering Gillingham's last 20 minute domination against Cheltenham.

We now move onto the Carling Cup in mid-week, particularly looking forward to some very exciting bet on Tuesday evening.

Having just watched Watford stun new boys Norwich City in the opening game of the Championship season, i'm proud to say that we are all-GO.

Yes, the season has started in a flattering way, the only thing that could be more flattering is a 75%-100% strike rate for us tomorrow, which we are hugely anticipating.

There was always a strong reason to back newcomers Stevenage against Macclesfield on the opening day of the League 2 season, which was suggested in the 'Firefoxx System Results' which came out with a whopping 70% win rate for Stevenage, however tonights Championship opener confirmed our very thoughts that newly promoted teams should be left alone on the opening day of the season just as Norwich City backers have found out this evening.

Instead we have gone with four home teams based on the 'Firefoxx Results System' and strong factual evidence backed up with weeks of research and attendance during pre-season matches.

Today i went to Coral bookmakers and slapped a nice sum of money on each of the 4 tips given out by our team this week, so we will all enjoy Saturday afternoon and the riches that should prevail.

Opening Day Fixtures Mean Extensive Research Is Essential

The countdown to the nPower League 2 season is now down to just 6 days, where 24 teams will be sweating blood and tears in a bid to hit the ground running and put lots of pre-season work to test.

It is fair to say that a lot of punters are sceptical about getting involved in early season fixtures but my motto is 'try to learn more than the bookmakers know'. Which at times can be thrusting yourself through over 100 websites every day but then if you want to be serious about betting it is part and parcel of the job.

Pre-Season is a perfect example of the amount of research needed to put yourself into a position of making good money through the season. It may take 7 hours of the day but it is incredibly interesting. Suddenly a log book becomes 3 log books and so then you have a pile of books crammed with information colated. It is in the final few days of the season that you can sit down and be assured you are in a position to really give out solid information.

Our scouting team have been flat out in recent weeks, visiting game after game whilst we had the first results from our new 'mathematical system' for the opening day fixtures. It was quite exciting to view the results and build upon those. Whilst the system gives us a % into which outcome is the most likely, it is still not the answer to our final selections.

A lot of the information churned into the mathematical system are based on actual facts rather than taking note a team is without their key players. All of this needs to be taken into account.

This weekend we are settled on releasing 4 tips, ironically all of those tips are home teams which has been purposly made. I don't personally see too many away teams getting a win in the first round of matches. Port Vale will certainly give Bury a close call providing they can contain a vibrant Bury attack. Aldershot have a chance of getting the 3 points against Accrington but will have to go to a tricky place. Bradford City are another team that could upset Shrewsbury but all 3 of these teams could quite easily draw, so therefore it is not information we would officially like to release as Firefoxx tips.

6 Tips Shortlisted For Opening Day

The signing of Abebayo Akinfenwa for Gillingham today has made their opening home fixture against Cheltenham all that little bit exciting. Former Northampton Town hit-man Akinfenwa has now been installed as one of the favourites for the top goalscorer award and joins a promising Gills side managed by former favourite and ex-Dover boss Andy Hessenthaler.

We have put all of the 12 nPower League fixtures which kick-off next weeked, through our new state-of the art mathematical system which has left us with 6 fixtures to concentrate on.

It really is exciting times here at Firefoxx HQ, currently we are now trawling through hundreds of sources. It looks like we will be releasing anything from 1-3 tips on the opening day of the season, we are already feeling extremely confident over a few.

One consideration which is taking place is title favourites Wycombe Wanderers who take on last seasons overachievers Morecambe.

Wycombe Wanderers have a strike force capable of firing them to League Two success this season, according to new frontman Ben Strevens. The 30-year-old will join Stuart Beavon, Scott Rendell and John-Paul Pittman in the Adams Park attack.

Chesterfield look short at 4/6 to beat Barnet who diced with relegation last season, however that may be an appealing price considering Barnet have not made any major moves in the transfer market and their main signing Steve Kabba has failed to convince fans that he can bag the goals needed this season.

Aldershot are best priced at 7/4 to beat Accrington Stanley away from home, whilst our focus remains on 5 home teams, Aldershot are being taken into account by our team of professionals.

Aldershot Town midfielder Glen Little believes the club can push for promotion to League One after a successful pre-season. The Shots have won all four of their friendlies so far, scoring 16 goals without conceding. The club will certainly be looking to build on their 6th place finish whilst Accrington Stanley will do well to achieve anything like last seasons mid table finish.

Crewe Alexandra are tipped as dark horses in the league this season, their attacking approach can sometimes lead to inconsistency but with an opening game of the season at home, we would expect the likes of Calvin Zola, Clayton Donaldson and Shaun Miller to give the side a great chance of claiming a home win against a Hereford United who have spent much of pre-season trialling new players.

Rotherham and Southend United are the other two clubs in our short-list of six, which will be whittled down to at least half that come Friday 6th August.

Then only one week later we welcome the start of the Blue Square Premier, Blue Square North and Blue Square South in which we have some crackers lined up there also.

An Exciting Pre-Season As We Near Blast-Off

It has been an interesting summer to say the least, whilst the World Cup gripped the nation, staff at Non League Football Tips HQ have been working hard ready for the new season. Just as football clubs seek to have the perfect preparation, this has also been something we have put into practice. We now enter our third season offering football tips for our loyal fanbase and this one is set to be the most promising yet. Our experience, knowledge and organisation has never been greater, which has been showcased by our treks across the country watching countless pre-season games, compiling reports and working on a brand new system which will aid our selections.

Currently we are working on our first batch of selections which will be in just 10 days time covering the npower League 2. This league looks like it could be a tight one this year with many teams looking to compete for promotion. It will be very important to make sure we have our information spot on, there already looks like a couple of tasty bets for the opening day of the season. We will certainly be focusing on the physcological side of things which could mean we will side with home teams. It will be interesting to see how former non league sides, Oxford United and Stevenage fair on the opening day.

There have not been a lot of clues in pre-season results, for instance relegation favourites Macclesfield have had a blinding pre-season going unbeaten. It is important to not pay too much attention to pre-season however it does help. We will be looking forward to using our new number crunching system which will help us filter out strong cases for backing.

There are a few interesting ones to look out for, one being Stockport County. The northern side who were relegated from League One last season have only added 3 players to the side that went into freefall last season. They travel to fellow relegated side Southend next weekend, however Southend have managed to make a couple of big signings even with a transfer embargo over them. That is set to be lifted as a sell-on clause of nearly half a million pounds is about to give the Essex club the chance to further strengthen and they must look a bargain 11/10 to beat almost the same group of players that they did at home last season 2-1.

Aldershot are another team to keep an eye on, whilst our mindset will be to side with the home teams on the opening day, the fact that Aldershot's pre-season has been ultra impressive and the additions to their side should give them an excellent chance for an away day win against relegation favourites Accrington Stanley.

So plenty to ponder and of course the tips won't be released until a day before the season begins, we of course will be working away making sure your selections are as solid as possible.
